Donation Forms

Donation forms are created and managed in The Hort's DonorPerfect account. To optimize the user experience and allow for different donation amounts to be set between one-time and monthly forms, two separate donation forms for each donation type are used. The default forms for these at Website One Time and Website Recurring.

To create a new form, copies of these forms should be made in order to carry over style and analytics settings. If both one-time and monthly options are desired on any new form, you will need to copy both forms and then update the one-time and monthly links accordingly in each form that are found in The Basics → Edit Header/Footer .

If you wish for your new form to be just one-time or monthly and not offer both options, remember to remove the one-time and monthly links in The Basics → Edit Header/Footer.

At the time of The Hort's website's development, DonorPerfect was working on a new version of their donation form builder, but it was not yet available on The Hort's account. Once this feature is fully released, it may warrant a redevelopment of the donation forms because the new version of the donation form has an enhanced user experience and likely will no longer require managing separate one-time and monthly forms.
